An experienced team
that knows how banks work.

For years we built internet banking at a leading Croatian bank and connected it to its payment systems: SEPA, instant payments, verification of payee and PSD2. You won’t need to explain the basics to us.

Everything we build is yours: the code, the IP and the documentation.

What we bring as a company

Internet banking retail and corporate
Payments in digital channels SEPA, payment files, domestic payments
Instant payments and verification of payee built into internet banking
Cards card management, e-commerce
CRM retail and corporate
Legacy modernisation CICS, DB2, gradual monolith replacement

Small banks face the same regulations as the big banks, but with a fraction of the team.

Instant payments, verification of payee and DORA apply to every bank, whatever its size. Developers who understand banking are hard to find and harder to keep. We close that gap with a team that already knows what a payment file is and why a change needs sign-off.

What clients usually ask us

Head of IT development Will the team get up to speed without eating into my time?
Yes. We’ve spent years on the same kinds of systems, so you won’t be teaching us the basics. Your point of contact is one of the co-owners, who owns the project end to end.
Product owner Will I get the feature on time, and the way I pictured it?
We speak the language of payment orders, payment files and payee checks, so nothing gets lost in translation. You see working software every two weeks and can steer early, not at the end.
CIO Will this partner reduce my risk, or add to it?
Our banking knowledge lives in the company, not in any one person, so your project never hangs on a single developer. We agree a DORA-aligned contract, and an exit strategy with full knowledge transfer is part of the deal from day one.
COO Is the cost predictable, and who is accountable for deadlines?
You get a fixed project price upfront. The co-owner you work with is accountable for deadlines and keeps you updated.

Project-based work. A long-term partnership.

We don’t rent out developers by the hour. We take on projects, own their delivery and scale the team to what each one needs. We know how big banks operate, but we work at the scale of a smaller one: no needless complexity, and a price you know upfront.

Pilot project A small, well-defined piece of work with little risk. The quickest way to see how we work. Fixed price for an agreed scope
Project A specific feature or regulatory change, from specification to production. Fixed project price
Long-term partnership One project after another, with a team that already knows your systems. The team scales up and down with the work. Every project priced upfront

Staff augmentation vs. a project partner

We’re not a staffing agency. We take on the project, answer for the outcome and stay with you after go-live.

Criterion Staff augmentation codenamecode
What you pay for Hours worked A delivered project, priced upfront
Who answers for the outcome You We do, through a co-owner as your contact
Banking knowledge Whatever one person brings The whole company’s, built over 20+ years in banks
When someone leaves Their knowledge goes with them It stays with the team and in the documentation
After go-live The contract ends We stay on for the next project

Off-the-shelf or software you own?

Off-the-shelf makes sense when it does what you need. When you need something of your own, what we build for you stays yours.

Criterion Off-the-shelf Built by us
Code ownership The vendor’s Yours, with full IP transfer
Licences Annual licence and maintenance fees No licence fees on what we build
Changes and customisation On the vendor’s roadmap On your priorities
Switching suppliers Hard, sometimes impossible Your contractual right: you hold the code and documentation
Time to start Quick, if it fits your needs Takes development, but you get exactly what you need

From first call to handover

  2. Proposal and paperwork Scope, team and price, plus answers to your vendor due diligence questions.
  3. Up to speed in weeks We get to know your systems, environments and change approval process.
  4. Progress every two weeks Short cycles that follow your code review and release processes.

What we need from you

We can be up to full speed within a few weeks, provided we get these in good time:

  • access to systems and development environments
  • clear requirements, or someone who can clarify them
  • someone who can make decisions

Your contact is one of the co-owners, who is accountable for the deadlines and keeps you informed.

Co-owners and team

Our banking expertise belongs to the company, not just to individuals. We build each team around the project, and one of the co-owners is always your contact.

We know what your vendor due diligence will ask

Our team has sat on both sides of the table, so your auditors’ questions are familiar. The contract, security rules and exit strategy are agreed with you, in line with DORA.

  • A DORA-aligned contract Covers Article 30: monitoring and audit rights, notification duties and cooperation with supervisors.
  • Confidentiality and access An NDA for every team member, and work only in environments the bank has approved.
  • Incident procedure Timelines and channels, agreed with you, for telling the bank about anything that could affect the service.
  • Continuity plan Knowledge is shared across the team, so if someone has to be replaced, you’re still covered by people with banking experience.
  • Exit strategy Code, documentation and know-how stay with the bank. Moving to another supplier or an in-house team is always your call.
  • Ownership and IP Full IP in all software built for you passes to the bank.
Let’s talk about your requirements
